How do you prevent surface scratching on aluminium and pre-painted coils?+

We use replaceable cradle liner pads — HDPE for aluminium, felt pads for pre-painted surfaces, and rubber (EPDM) for general steel coils. The liner material is selected based on your coil’s surface sensitivity. For high-value aluminium and automotive body panel coils, we recommend A-frame racks that eliminate cradle contact entirely, supporting coils by leaning against padded rails.

Can coil racks be used outdoors in steel yards?+
